2012 Olympic Games

During 2012 we were asked to provide resource to the Home Office, via one of our partners.
The contract required security cleared staff to work across 12 major airports in the UK.

Engineers from Cerco would represent the Home Office, meeting and greeting VIPs from around the world visiting the UK to attend the Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Our engineers would ensure these VIPs had personal access to secure government systems and networks as well as remedying any issues on a 24/7 basis, such as problems with ticket machines and other general IT problems.

Our close working partnership with HM Forces enabled us to find suitable candidates as they came to the end of their military career.

We trained these people ourselves and worked with our partner to transfer pre-existing SC and/or DV clearance in addition to applying for air-side passes.
We provided a designated account manager to work with our partner and the airports and met the requirement, completed the project and received testimonial for our commitment.
